I'm a Ph.D. student in the Linguistics Department at the ​​University of Arizona.


My specializations are: Psycholinguistics and Cognitive Science. I employ experimental, documentation, and theoretical methodologies.

My research interests:
  • Psycholinguistics: sentence processing, compounding, context effects, morpho-syntax interface, syntactic-semantic interface, language development, language acquisition
  • Hiaki (Yaqui) linguistics (Uto-Aztecan): morphology, clitics, pronouns​

I work primarily in the Language and Cognition Lab led by Dr. Thomas Bever and in the Cognitive Neuroscience of Language Lab led by Dr. Vicky Tzuyin Lai. I am also involved in the Hiaki Documentation Project led by Dr. Heidi Harley.

I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from the University of Kansas. I worked in the Developmental Psycholinguistics Lab led by Dr. Utako Minai.
